Friends of Channel 10/36 Auction
Our club participates in this on-air fundraising event which airs live on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10 to Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. The money the Auction raises is used to purchase quality programming and maintain equipment for Milwaukee Public Television. The majority of funding for Milwaukee Public Television comes from community support.

Winners Wear Helmets
Our club teams up with Safe Kids Southeast Wisconsin Coalition, Habush Habush and Rottier and other organizations to share bike safety information with over 600 MPS third graders. The goal of this one-day event is to reach at-risk children with educational messages about the importance of using a bicycle helmet, and fit and distribute a free helmet to each participating child.
Students attend brief presentations by people who use helmets in their daily jobs (i.e. race car driver, construction worker, motorcycle officer, etc.) Each presenter reminds the students about the importance of wearing a helmet. Students are fitted for and will receive a free bicycle helmet. Then, while wearing their bicycle helmet, they participate in a bicycle rodeo teaching students the necessary skill of safe bicycling. To date, nearly 4,000 students have been fitted for helmets.
