years in MMKN: 15 (Charter member)
why I joined: I joined to provide community service to others in need while having fun with friends and meeting new people. Also, I very much enjoyed my years in Key Club at my high school and Circle K during college.
favorite Kiwanis event: My favorite event is helping kids at Winners Wear Helmets at State Fair Park. I love getting to be the tour guide for 3rd graders as they get fitted for their own bike helmets, learn about helmet safety from the police, firefighters, Boys and Girls Club, Harley Davidson, and get to ride bikes in a bike rodeo.
other activities: I enjoy working with the Key Club and Circle K members, shopping and wrapping gifts for our adopted families at Christmas, and participating in food sorts with local agencies.

why I joined: I was in CKI in college, so Kiwanis was a natural progression to continue my community service. Plus, I've met a lot of great people through the Kiwanis family.
favorite Kiwanis event: Winners Wear Helmets. It's awesome to see kids get excited about biking and learning about helmet safety from various professionals.
other activities: Graphic design, photography, volleyball, running (sometimes), cooking, hanging out with friends.
